A little bit about myself....
I have two dogs of my own, a cocker spaniel, Crunchie, and Biscuit, a Hungarian Vizsla, both of whom keep me on my toes. Oh and of course, Charlie, the cat who puts everyone in their place!
I have grown up with dogs and have always had a passion for animals. So much so, that from a young age, I was a volunteer at Foal Farm in Kent. However, it wasn’t until many years later, working at a Pet Hotel abroad that I realised I wanted to pursue my career working with animals. but wasn’t sure in what capacity. Upon my return to the UK, I fell back into the corporate world and studied marketing. After a long and successful career, I decided to take the plunge and train to be a dog groomer. Unfortunately, not long after training, I moved and had to put my grooming on hold.
FINALLY, after many years, I decided to take the plunge again, retrained as a dog groomer and after 2 successful years, have decided to open a doggy day care, so when I am not grooming, I also get to spend more time with animals….what’s not to like!!
I have continued to develop my skills and learn about dog behaviour and psychology. I am also trained in Animal First Aid.
